Some have questioned the Ball family's decision to send LiAngelo and LaMelo to Lithuania to begin their pro careers. LaVar Ball told me tonight he's looking forward to seeing the "smiles on my sons' faces at the fact they're playing basketball competitively again." He added, "My boys are going over there to have fun, change the culture. Now young cats is coming to the game. That's all we're going over there to do, man: play."

Sources: Lakers asked LaVar to tone it down

LaVar Ball confirmed that he met with the Lakers' front office recently to discuss his criticisms of head coach Luke Walton, saying of the meeting, "It's about coming together and to get a solution to this problem."
