The Rams-Buccaneers game is in a weather delay at the 2-minute warning with the Rams leading 37-32. I doubt this will happen, but IF the game were to declared official at this point (or if the game were suspended and completed tomorrow), the 37-32 score would be valid for betting purposes as "Vegas rules" require 55 minutes to played.

Lightning in the vicinity has forced a delay at the two-minute warning. Rams lead, 37-32.

Dodger Stadium cheers at the sight of the Padres-Giants score. If the Padres win, the Dodgers win the NL West.

Impressed by the Rams. They were horrible in the opener, but now appear on their way to 2-1. Dialing up a long touchdown pass on third-and-2 to take a 37-26 lead at Tampa? Not bad. The longer Case Keemun can remain viable, the less pressure there is on the Rams to play Jared Goff, who they obviously feels needs time.

Tavon Austin, the $42 million man, with his first touchdown of the year, for 43 yards. Wide open, then put a nice spin move on a Bucs DB to score untouched. That may be it.

Alden Gonzalez ESPN Staff Writer

The Bucs came right back, thanks largely to a 33-yard hookup between Jameis Winston and Charles Sims. Winston ends it by finding Cameron Brate, the third-string tight end, wide open for his second touchdown. Rams deny the two-point conversion, which was big. They lead, 31-26, and it's time for Todd Gurley to take control.

Bruins trending down in ESPN’s rankings

Our panel believes UCLA is still one of the best two-loss teams in the college football. The Bruins fall to No. 24 after their 22-13 loss to Stanford. Power Rankings: Week 4

Fantastic play by Robert Quinn. As Gregg Williams has put it, a lot of pass-rushers turn the corner at nine yards. Good ones turn it at eight. Pro Bowlers turn it at seven. Quinn and the truly elite can start turning the corner at 4-6 yards.

Matt Bowen ESPN Staff Writer

Rams DE Robert Quinn showcased his speed, power and counter moves on the strip-sack of Bucs QB Jameis Winston. Quinn turned the corner and got the ball out. That lead to Ethan Westbrook's TD on the fumble return. Turnovers and points. Exactly what defensive coordinator Gregg Williams teaches. Rams up 31-20 in the fourth quarter.

Alden Gonzalez ESPN Staff Writer

The Rams have taken control. With the Bucs in the red zone, Robert Quinn came around the edge on third down and batted the ball out of Jameis Winston's hands, allowing Ethan Wearbrooks to pick it up and return it 77 yards for a touchdown. They lead, 31-20. Such a great effort by Quinn.

Todd Gurley fantasy owners are seeing production from the Top 5 RB today. Although Gurley is only averaging 3.3 yards per carry, he is getting high volume touches (22 carries) and has scored two touchdowns. And he still has the fourth quarter to play vs. the Bucs with the Rams holding a 24-20 lead.

Alden Gonzalez ESPN Staff Writer

Perhaps Todd Gurley has indeed been freed. Ran for 38 yards on six carries on that drive, including a 1-yard touchdown run and a brilliant 16-yard run in which he somehow remained on his feet. Rams lead, 24-20.

DT Michael Brockers, hurt earlier, checked back in.

Todd Gurley scores his first touchdown of the season, a 1-yard run on third down to make it 20-17 at halftime. Rams must take care of the football in the second half. Bucs have scored 13 points off turnovers. And the Rams are the last team that can afford to turn the football over. Gurley has been limited to 35 yards on 14 carries. He is averaging 2.66 yards per carry this season.

Alden Gonzalez ESPN Staff Writer

Todd Gurley might have been seeing 15 guys on that play. 3rd and 1, he's stuffed for no gain. 10 carries, 29 yards thus far.

Thoughts from SEC assistant after Les Miles' firing: "It'll be open season with LSU's recruits," the coach said. "Their class was so good. It'll be tough to pry some of their in-state guys away, but this will help others go after their out-of-state guys . This could have just changed Dylan Moses' recruitment big time." Moses, a five-star athlete from Bradenton (Florida) IMG Academy, is originally from Louisiana and is considering LSU, Alabama, Miami, Texas and UCLA.

Another read-option by Jameis Winston, another touchdown. Troy Hill and Josh Forrest, two guys relatively unfamiliar with Gregg Williams' defense, seemed to have miscommunicated on that play.

Will Hayes is back in the game, but DT Michael Brockers walked off the field gingerly. Musical chairs on the defensive line today.

Media members are signing a goodbye card for Vin Scully in the press box.

Alden Gonzalez ESPN Staff Writer

The Rams are already down two defensive linemen. Eugene Sims ejected for unsportsmanlike conduct. Earlier, Will Hayes was carted off the field with an ankle injury.

Alden Gonzalez ESPN Staff Writer

Fun game so far. Jameis Winston converted 4th and 1 on read-option, then Charles Sims runs it in from the 1. Bucs went 75 yards on nine plays.

Alden Gonzalez ESPN Staff Writer

That's a 53-yard field goal by Greg Zuerlein, who was 3-for-9 from beyond 50 yards last year. He's 4-for-4 on field goals this season. 10-6, Rams.
