Former USC QB Max Browne is set to visit Pittsburgh this weekend, a source told ESPN.com. Browne announced last week he will not remain with the team during the lead-up to Trojans' bowl game as he looks for a school to transfer to for his final year of eligibility. He began the season as USC's starter, but lost the job to Sam Darnold after three games.

Lakers starting point guard D'Angelo Russell, who has missed 10 games with a sore left knee, participated in non-contact drills during practice Thursday, but Lakers coach Luke Walton said Russell won't return to action until he completes a full practice or at least plays in a competitive 3-on-3 drill. Russell said he feels great and is just trying to "knock the rust off" for the time being.

Jansen seems like the priority now since he is the last elite closer available on the market, but as his price skyrockets, the Dodgers could put their resources toward Turner instead. Not that Turner's offensive production and defense would be viewed as a consolation prize.
