Edson Buddle scored again, brilliantly finishing Sean Franklin's cross in the 44th minute for his fifth goal of the season to give the Galaxy a 2-0 halftime lead in Houston.

Buddle scored just moments after Dynamo forward Luis Angel Landin was sent off for sweeping Omar Gonzalez off his feet after they jostled as the Galaxy defender shielded the ball across the end line.

Buddle has scored all five goals for L.A., which is looking to improve to 3-0-0.

"I'm just trying to enjoy it and keep going," he said in a halftime interview on Fox Sports Prime Ticket's coverage, which will air in Southern California at 10 p.m.

He volleyed Franklin's cross from the right byline for his second goal of the night, blasting his shot off the ground from just outside the six-yard box. Franklin sent the ball toward the far post after Houston goalkeeper Pat Onstad knocked away a Mike Magee attempt from the right side of the box.

For those keeping count, Buddle has matched his 2009 season total and pushed his career mark to 78.
