  • Lehigh outscored Duke 19-4 in transition Friday during the Mountain Hawks' second round win. Lehigh entered the 2012 Men's Basketball Championship with the 16th best transition defense in the nation. The Blue Devils, on the other hand, had been outscored by 1.9 transition points per game this season, the second worst differential in the ACC.

  • Lehigh guard C.J McCollum drew 13 of the Blue Devils' 26 fouls in the Mountain Hawks' second round win. It was the second most drawn in the last three Men's Basketball Championships. Jimmer Fredette drew 14 fouls last season against Wofford in the second round and it was the 12th time in the last three years that a player has drawn ten or more fouls in a tournament game.
