Research Notes

  • Kentucky gave up 75 points last night in its loss to Duke. Based on that figure it doesn't seem like Kentucky has a defense problem, right? Wrong. NEXT LEVEL: There were only 64 possessions in the game, which means that Duke scored 1.17 points per possession (or 117.2 points per 100 possessions) against Kentucky, which is actually the 4th-most efficient offensive performances against Kentucky under coach John Calipari.
