Research Notes

  • Michael Carter-Williams had 16 assists in Saturday's win over Monmouth, the 3rd-most in Syracuse single-game history.

  • Syracuse sophomore Michael Carter-Williams put together one of the most impressive statistical games in recent memory Saturday. Collecting 15 points, 15 assists and 5 steals in a game had only been done four times in the previous 15 seasons and each of those players needed at least 36 minutes played to get there. Carter-Williams did it in 26 minutes of action against Monmouth while accumulating the 3rd-most assists in a game in school history.
