Creighton defeated Cincinnati 67-63 Friday, despite attempting 22 fewer field goals. The Bluejays outscored the Bearcats by 18 points from the foul line. Doug McDermott made more free throws (11) than the entire Cincinnati team attempted (9). McDermott and Gregory Echenique each drew six fouls, which is one more than the 11 Cincinnati drew as a team.
