Louisville played nine games against teams seeded either one or two in the NCAA Tournament. They went 2-7 in those games, beating Michigan State and North Carolina and losing to Tennessee, Kentucky, Duke and Virginia and North Carolina twice. " I know our players feel as though there won't be a team we'll face where we'll wonder whether we can compete with them or not," Louisville coach Chris Mack said. " One of the teams that we played I believe will be holding the national championship trophy if it's not us. That's the type of schedule we played."
