Feel badly for Andrew Jones who is out with a fractured wrist for Texas. Jones has elevated his 3-point shooting to 43% this season. He was the leading scorer for Texas at 15ppg and you could see his offensive rhythm starting to develop. Chance for Eric Davis, Jase Febres and Jacob Young to contribute. Tonight Michigan at Texas ESPN2 9pm est.

Minnesota escapes with an unexpectedly tough win at home over Drake 68-67. The score's a bit misleading (the Bulldogs hit a 3 at the final horn), but the Golden Gophers can definitely use the 10-day break they're about to get. That being said, Jordan Murphy continues to be an incredible performer on a confusing team: 24 points on 11-of-14 shooting, with 18 rebounds and four blocks.

If you predicted Minnesota would take its first lead at home against Drake with nine minutes left in the game, take one step forward. The Golden Gophers have dropped three of their last four games, and Richard Pitino's guys have their hands full against the 5-4 Bulldogs at Williams Arena.

Watching the final minute of Chicago State-Northwestern, want to see if Chris Collins subscribes to the “foul up 65” school of thought.

At halftime, Northwestern leads visiting Chicago State 55-8. For future reference, the record for the largest margin of victory in a game between two Division I opponents is 91: Tulsa 141, Prairie View A&M 50, December 7, 1995.

Bobby Hurley to ESPN on being ranked No. 5: "I'm still processing the rapid rise. We have a very connected, talented group and when you have guards like Shannon Evans, Tra Holder, Kodi Justice and Remy Martin it puts major pressure on your opponent."

Gonzaga bounced back from Tuesday's loss to Villanova with a dominant performance at Washington Sunday, beating the Huskies -- who were coming off a win over No. 2 Kansas in Kansas City -- 97-70 in the first trip back to Seattle's Hec Edmundson Pavilion for the in-state rival Zags since 2005. Gonzaga has won all three meetings since the teams resumed their series in 2015 in lopsided fashion.

Longtime NBA center Spencer Hawes, who played one year at UW, among the Huskies fans in attendance for tonight's game against Gonzaga.

In Wednesday's upset of Kansas, Washington had success extending a 2-3 zone to take away 3s. Gonzaga is just 3-of-13 on 3s in the first half, but has shot 11-of-18 inside the arc and added 16 free throws in 20 attempts to take a 47-33 lead at halftime.

Foul trouble is becoming an issue for the Washington Huskies. A little over eight minutes into the first half, they've got eight team fouls. Starters Matisse Thybulle and Sam Timmins are on the bench with two apiece.
