GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- No. 1 Florida will have backup point guard Kasey Hill back Saturday against LSU.
Hill missed the Gators' last three games with a groin injury, but coach Billy Donovan says the freshman has been cleared to practice and play.
Donovan said Hill "looked pretty good" in practice Thursday, added "no limping or anything that I can notice where he looks hampered or bothered."
Hill is averaging 5.6 points and 3.1 assists in 23-plus minutes a game this season. He is shooting just 37.6 percent from the field and 15.2 percent from 3-point range, but his biggest value comes in providing starting point guard Scottie Wilbekin rest in games.
The Gators (26-2, 15-0) have won 20 in a row and clinched the SEC regular-season title.
