Jared Sullinger gets foot X-rayed

COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Ohio State forward Jared Sullinger left the game against South Carolina after getting kicked in the left foot Saturday.

X-rays showed Sullinger did not have a fracture in the foot, but he did not return after heading to the locker room early in the first half.

Sullinger was diagnosed with a bone bruise in his left foot and is listed as day to day.

Sullinger limped to the locker room less than five minutes into the second-ranked Buckeyes' game at the Colonial Life Arena.

Sullinger missed two games with back spasms, including Ohio State's lone loss on the season, 78-67 to Kansas last Saturday. Sullinger was back in the lineup this past Wednesday night for an 82-58 victory over South Carolina Upstate.

Sullinger has averaged 18 points and 10 rebounds in eight games this season.
