Dooley returns to ECU for 2nd coaching stint

Coming off a fourth straight losing season, East Carolina has hired Joe Dooley from Florida Gulf Coast as its new men's basketball head coach. It is Dooley's second stint with the Pirates, as he led them to a 57-52 record from 1995 to 1999.

ECU coach Jeff Lebo resigns after 7 seasons

Jeff Lebo, who has been the head coach of the East Carolina Pirates for more than seven seasons, resigned on Wednesday.

ECU's Jeff Lebo continues to add American level talent with addition of Heritage HS/Team Loaded NC's 6-7 power forward Jayden Gardner. Excellent addition as Pirates continue to build in the AAC‬.
