This is what happens when Justin Jackson gets hot and Joel Berry II shifts the defense with his penetration and passing and Luke Maye makes his first three shots from beyond the arc and UNC refuses to give up good looks on defense. No team in America beats North Carolina when the Tar Heels are shooting and defending like this.

Well, just as everyone predicted, it's the Luke Maye Show.

Tar Heels talking a lot on defense, calling out the screens and cuts. It's helping. Butler has hit some big 3-pointers but they're struggling inside the arc because Tar Heels not getting caught out of position. North Carolina more vocal than the Bulldogs right now.

Myron Medcalf ESPN Staff Writer

North Carolina overwhelming Butler with Berry and Jackson. Bulldogs can't keep up with the duo. And the Tar Heels are doing a great job of denying entry passes and eliminating uncontested shot opportunities on the perimeter. Butler needs a run right now.

Myron Medcalf ESPN Staff Writer

Butler doing a great job challenging North Carolina on every possession. Bulldogs trying to make this a scrappy game. No idea what they'll do about Justin Jackson but Butler has to fight like this for 40 minutes.

Myron Medcalf ESPN Staff Writer

Anyone who thinks Butler doesn't have a chance hasn't watched college basketball this season. North Carolina is a big, physical team. If the Bulldogs can set the tone and refuse to be bullied in the opening stretch at the FedEx Forum, however, they can pull off the upset. Tough task against this dominant UNC team.

Bradley is UNC's top NBA prospect

The talented freshman is only UNC's fifth-leading scorer, but he's been super-efficient and productive in limited minutes for the Tar Heels.

Make-or-break player: Joel Berry II

Berry looked hampered by an ankle injury as he struggled against Arkansas. The Tar Heels need him back to 100 percent this weekend.
