Mountain West released its preseason poll: No shock that San Diego State is clear-cut No. 1 pick with 23 of the 27 first-place votes. Here is the rest of the poll: 2) Nevada 3) New Mexico 4) Fresno State 5) Boise State 6) Utah State 7) Colorado State 8) UNLV 9) Air Force 10) Wyoming 11) San Jose State. I think San Diego State wins the league -- and second is fairly wide open.

Cullen Neal transferring from New Mexico
