Virginia goes to bench to make run

Like a dramatic win over Pittsburgh in 2011, Butler is looking for another big win vs. a 1-seed in the second round. But Cavaliers sub Marial Shayok has 7 big points off the bench to erase a Butler lead. Follow live

After Andrew Chrabascz scored 12 straight for Butler, Virginia moved ACC Defensive Player of the Year Malcolm Brogdon to guard him. Chrabascz has already set new season-high with 19 points and has made a career-best four 3-pointers.

Andrew Chrabascz leads Butler with 12 points into halftime. That is not a misprint & yes his last name is spelled correctly. UVa has chosen so far not to double Chrabascz on the post and risk leaving shooters like Dunham open on the perimeter. Dunham & Martin, normally the Bulldogs leading scorers, have combined for 4 points on 2-6 FG
