San Diego State receives plenty of preseason praise

San Diego State was picked as the preseason media favorite to win the Mountain West on Wednesday. Junior guard Trey Kell is one of three Aztecs players to receive individual preseason honors.

Jeff Goodman ESPN Insider

Mountain West released its preseason poll: No shock that San Diego State is clear-cut No. 1 pick with 23 of the 27 first-place votes. Here is the rest of the poll: 2) Nevada 3) New Mexico 4) Fresno State 5) Boise State 6) Utah State 7) Colorado State 8) UNLV 9) Air Force 10) Wyoming 11) San Jose State. I think San Diego State wins the league -- and second is fairly wide open.
