Kentucky avoids being the first 5 seed to get upset by a 12 seed this year with its 78-73 win over Davidson. Kentucky dominated with 34 points in the paint to Davidson's 20 but Kentucky also went 0-for-6 from 3, ending a streak of 1,047 straight games with at least one made 3-pointer. The last time Kentucky didn't make a 3 was Nov. 26, 1988 vs Seton Hall. UNLV (1,040 straight) takes over the longest active streak with a 3-pointer.

Davidson commits bid theft with A-10 title win

Aldridge, Grady lead Davidson past VCU 74-63

Peyton Aldridge had 23 points and 11 rebounds for his second double-double, Kellan Grady scored 19 points and Davidson pulled away from VCU for a 74-63 win Wednesday night.
