2020 PG Jalen Cone. The kid loves to compete and learn the game. Great throw ahead passer, terrific straight line open floor speed, and a nasty cross-over pull up jumper. Defends the ball with energy and rebounds down to start the break. Cone told ESPN he holds offers from Hampton, High Point & UNC-Greensboro. He will take an unofficial visit to Kentucky on October 7th & Clemson on October 28th.

Virginia's Tony Bennett on collapsing during the game: "Been a little under the weather the last couple of days. when you're squatting and get up quick, I just blacked out a little bit. I've had more Powerade than I've ever had in my life so hopefully I'm hydrated well. That's happened before, when you get up quick and get a little dizzy."

Virginia senior forward Anthony Gill reached out one hand on Coach Tony Bennett and said a short prayer after Bennett collapsed: "I was praying just to make sure he was okay. It worked. I healed him."

Hampton coach Edward Joyner Jr. on Virginia: "They pay attention to detail, I mean, they don't miss an assignment. I would not be shocked if I was at the Final Four in Houston and they are playing."

Virginia's Tony Bennett is using the small chairs normally only used in his timeout huddles in the second half. Even when he's stood up briefly, he hasn't made any quick movements after collapsing at the end of the first half due to dehydration.

Virginia coach Tony Bennett told the broadcast crew that he was fine after dehydration caused him to collapse at the end of the first half. He's back coaching the second half, but looks like he's decided to sit instead of standing/walking the sideline.

Before last media timeout both Anthony Gill and Mike Tobey approached Tony Bennett appearing to make some suggestions. Cavs have gone inside on their last two possessions, ending in a kickout from Gill from the blocks for a Darius Thompson 3-pointer and a basket by Tobey.

Possibly the best thing that happened for Hampton was making a couple of contested shots early. Seems like any early jitters are gone now. After a few bad shots, the Pirates are going after high percentage ones now. They're just not making them shooting 4 of 12 FGs.

With many teams looking for an edge or a slight to rally around, Virginia's going with the theme that everyone hates its playing style. Cavaliers senior guard Malcolm Brogdon said he still hears negative remarks about how slow their tempo is. The Cavs are out to show their style wins and that's all that matters.
