Malik Newman scored seven of his game-high 24 points in the closing minutes, Baylor turned the ball over on the final inbounds play and Kansas rallied to beat the Bears 70-67 on Saturday night.

With 'no end in sight,' KU's Preston turns pro

Kansas freshman Billy Preston, who has not played a regular-season game for the Jayhawks this season, has signed with BC Igokea, a European club located in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Billy Preston's mother just confirmed the signing to ESPN. He didn't sign with an agent, but the plan is to enter the NBA Draft.

Kansas freshman Billy Preston has signed a professional contract with BC Ikogea of Bosnia, according to an announcement by the European team, and apparently won't play a game for the Jayhawks this season. Preston hasn't played for No. 10 Kansas this season while school officials investigated ownership of a car that he wrecked on campus in November.

Zion Williamson will make his college announcement live at 8:15 p.m. ET tonight on ESPN2 SportsCenter. He will decide between Clemson, Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina and South Carolina.
