Neumann, Wofford fend off Furman rally, 77-73

C.J. Neumann made his first trip to the free-throw line with one second remaining in front of a rowdy, near-sellout crowd and made the second of two foul shots as Wofford held off a late charge b


Furman rallies to beat Samford 67-65

Matt Rafferty scored a career-high 20 points and hit a go-ahead 3-pointer with 20 seconds left and Furman rallied to beat Samford 67-65 on Thursday night to win its fifth straight.


Furman hangs on to edge ETSU 74-70

Stephen Croone scored 21 points, including two free throws with 2.5 seconds left and Furman held on to beat East Tennessee State 74-70 on Saturday.


Mercer holds on to beat Furman 69-65

Stephon Jelks and Jestin Lewis combined for 26 points as Mercer started strong but then had to fight off Furman for a 69-65 win in Southern Conference action on Thursday night.
