Texas A&M junior Tyler Davis is declaring for the 2018 NBA draft, a source told ESPN. Davis will not hire an agent at this time, preserving the option to return to school for his senior year pending the feedback he receives from NBA teams. The 6-foot-10, 264 pound center averaged 14.9 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks in 29 minutes per game for Texas A&M, who made the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16. He was named First Team All-SEC. Davis is considered one of the most skilled big men in the college game, with polished footwork, reliable hands, soft touch and an array of moves with his back to the basket. NBA teams will likely want to see him expand his shooting range and become more of a presence defensively on the interior and stepping outside the paint down the road, as he is not a very dynamic athlete.

Texas A&M forward Williams declares for draft

Texas A&M sophomore Robert Williams announced after the Aggies' NCAA tournament loss to Michigan on Thursday that he would enter the NBA draft. The 6-foot-10 power forward is ESPN's No. 6-ranked draft-eligible prospect.

Dakich on Michigan: 'They frustrate you on defense' (1:42)

Michigan's Zavier Simpson said there wasn't a special formula to the Wolverines' exceptional defense against Texas A&M. He said the Wolverines just wanted to "play hard and play smart."

Edward Aschoff ESPN Staff Writer

Michigan guard Zavier Simpson talks about Texas A&M guard T.J. Starks saying this week that his game was "unguardable" and "unstoppable". Starks shot 2-of-11 from the field and had five turnovers against Michigan

The face of pure domination and victory from Michigan F Mo Wagner. On to the Elite Eight for Michigan

Edward Aschoff ESPN Staff Writer

Michigan totally controlled this game from the jump. The Wolverines were faster and more aggressive inside. Texas A&M wanted to play inside on offense but couldn't with how well Michigan disrupted the guard play and didn't allow there to be much of a rhythm for A&M's bigs. Michigan is now headed to the Elite Eight for the third time in the last six years and the first time since 2014.

Sophomore forward Robert Williams, a possible NBA Draft lottery pick if he elects to come out, was just subbed out to soft applause from Texas A&M fans. Might be his last time in an Aggies uniform.

Edward Aschoff ESPN Staff Writer

Michigan just unloaded its bench and just about everyone inside Staples Center gave the starters a standing ovation. "Let's go Blue" is ringing throughout the arena. Hard to believe this isn't Ann Arbor

Joel Anderson ESPN

Texas A&M has been almost completely unable to: a. work the ball into its post players; b. recover in time on defense to cover Michigan's shooters.

Edward Aschoff ESPN Staff Writer

How good has Michigan's defense been so far? The Wolverines outscored Texas A&M 15-0 in points off turnovers. Texas A&M allowed a combined 19 points off turnovers in its first two NCAA Tournament games. Offensively, Michigan also went 10-of-16 on 3-point FGs in the first half (62.5%) after being 13-of-46 from 3 in their first two tournament games combined (28.3%).

Edward Aschoff ESPN Staff Writer

The good news for Texas A&M is that it hit the final shot of the half and it was a 3. The bad news is that comebacks aren't exactly their thing. A&M is 2-11 when trailing at the half this season including an 0-8 mark in such games played away from home (road/neutral site).

Joel Anderson ESPN

There's simply not an easy shot on the floor for the Aggies tonight. Even forward Robert Williams missed a couple of point-blank looks at the rim. Meanwhile, Michigan is getting open looks whenever it wants from dribble-drive penetration.

Edward Aschoff ESPN Staff Writer

It's almost as if the tempo is just too much for Texas A&M right now. Michigan isn't letting the Aggies get into any sort of rhythm and they are dismantling A&M inside and outside. The biggest thing is that Michigan has been so aggressive in getting turnovers and killing any sort of A&M offensive identity by smothering guards

Joel Anderson ESPN

Yesterday when Michigan senior Duncan Robinson said the Wolverines "realized that we could have played a lot better" last week, this was the kind of game he had in mind.

Joel Anderson ESPN

Hard to think of how Texas A&M could've made a worse showing (so far) in LA that didn't involve Josh Rosen.

Edward Aschoff ESPN Staff Writer

Texas A&M coach Billy Kennedy said on Wednesday that he was happy with the play of his bigs, especially Tyler Davis and Robert Davis, because of how aggressive they were in the paint during the first two rounds. That hasn't been the case so far today. Michigan's defense has been all over A&M's guards and are making it tough to get anything going inside
