Is Houston a lock? Candidates are in "limbo" and no one knows if a vote will even happen. For Big 12 expansion, according to many insiders, anything is possible.
Sources told ESPN the Big 12 has cut its list of candidates to at least 12 schools: Air Force, BYU, UCF, Cincinnati, Colorado State, UConn, Houston, Rice, South Florida, SMU, Temple and Tulane.

Tulane transfer Dylan Osetkowski tells ESPN he will visit Texas the weekend of April 8 and Arizona the following weekend.
Former longtime NBA coach Mike Dunleavy Sr. is taking his first college coaching job at Tulane, joining a program that has languished at or below .500 for most of the past two decades.

The former NBA coach has emerged as the leading candidate at Tulane, multiple sources told ESPN's Jeff Goodman. Dunleavy Sr. has been the head coach of the Lakers, Bucks, Trail Blazers, and Clippers in his NBA coaching career. He would replace Ed Conroy, who was fired earlier this month after six seasons with the Green Wave.

Ed Conroy told ESPN's Jeff Goodman that he's been let go from Tulane after six seasons. Conroy's teams never finished above .500 in league play.

Ed Conroy will be fired once Tulane's season is over, according to ESPN sources and multiple reports. However, the Green Wave are still playing, having upset Houston on Friday to reach the semis of the American tournament. Conroy said after Friday's game that he has not heard from the school about his future. Story
Cameron Reynolds made a go-ahead 3-pointer with 11 seconds left and No. 10 seed Tulane upset second-seeded Houston 72-69 Friday night in an American Athletic Conference Tournament quarterfinal.
Sources told ESPN that Tulane will fire coach Ed Conroy at the conclusion of the season. The team remains alive in the AAC tournament.
