The Badgers' scoring woes has become a major theme entering Sunday's home game against Maryland; Wisconsin had averaged under 40 percent from the field in its last six games, and scored just 117 points in 123 possessions in back-to-back losses to Northwestern and Michigan last week. Sunday wasn't exactly pretty -- UW shot 41.4 percent (including 2 of 12 from 3) and scored just 71 points in 66 trips -- but stout defense and a second-half surge earned them the much-needed win.
