The Bilastator won't use the common refrain. He sees the truth: The at-large pool is weak. Only a handful of teams can sustain the excellence to win it all. Who are they? You're welcome.
Would you rather have Marquette star Markus Howard or Wisconsin veteran Bronson Koenig running your team for the NCAA tournament?

It's jammed up atop Big Ten
Wisconsin's win over Maryland on Sunday leaves the Badgers tied with Purdue for first place with Maryland one game behind. After that, Northwestern, Michigan State, Minnesota and Michigan are all within one game of each other in the loss column.
Nigel Hayes scored 14 of his 21 points in the second half, Ethan Happ had 20 points and No. 11 Wisconsin beat No. 23 Maryland 71-60 in a choppy, foul-filled game on Sunday.

The Badgers' scoring woes has become a major theme entering Sunday's home game against Maryland; Wisconsin had averaged under 40 percent from the field in its last six games, and scored just 117 points in 123 possessions in back-to-back losses to Northwestern and Michigan last week. Sunday wasn't exactly pretty -- UW shot 41.4 percent (including 2 of 12 from 3) and scored just 71 points in 66 trips -- but stout defense and a second-half surge earned them the much-needed win.

Wisconsin starting to settle in a little bit in the second half against Maryland. Melo Trimble has the Terps very much in the game, but still: This is the most comfortable the Badgers have looked in a minute.
Andy Katz ESPN Senior Writer
Wisconsin.will start D'Mitrik Trice today at the point against Maryland in a Big Ten showdown in Madison. Bronson Koenig's status for today is still uncertain. He missed the loss at Michigan due to a lower leg strain.
