As far as ESPN's draft analytics model is concerned, there was plenty of value to be found in the second round last night. In addition to these, the Mavericks picked up two talented players very late in Ray Spalding (Analytics Rank: 24) and Kostas Antetokounmpo (30).

As Rece Davis just mentioned, our draft model thinks Jevon Carter has an 8% chance to become an all-star caliber player -- very nice value for early in the second round.

NBA draft departures shake up Way-Too-Early Top 25

The deadline for early entrants to declare for the NBA draft has passed, so it's time to re-evaluate the early top 25 for 2018-19. With so many players testing the waters yet not signing with an agent, it's more art than science.

FINAL: Villanova 90, West Virginia 78 Jalen Brunson goes for 27 points, but Omari Spellman was huge with 18 points and eight rebounds. Key for Villanova in the second half was West Virginia racking up fouls early and ‘Nova taking care of the ball.

The West Virginia press is supposed to be overwhelming. Villanova's quick strike ability was more so tonight, though. Mountaineers never recovered from a two-minute 11-0 run midway through the second half.

Villanova hasn't turned it over since the 11:13 mark of the second half. They've outscored West Virginia by 16 since that point.

Jab-step 3 a few moments ago aside, Omari Spellman has been terrific for Villanova tonight. Two 3-pointers, 12 points, six rebounds, three assists, three blocks.

Not a banner night for Donte DiVincenzo. Five turnovers, three fouls, just four points. His shot-making has provided a major boost late in the season; not getting it going tonight. West Virginia up six; Villanova has made one field goal in the last 8:35.

James Bolden took a curtain call after hitting a 3-pointer, calling on the West Virginia cheering section for some noise. A slim lead and a monster block from Sagaba Konate have the Mountaineers fired up.

Villanova up two on West Virginia at the half. Story was fouls and Villanova turnovers. Wildcats coughed it up nine times in the first half — they had averaged 10.4 turnovers in their last 10 games. Only one TO in the last 4:50, though. Outscored WVU by five in that stretch.
