Marcus Stroman scored 22 points as Louisiana-Lafayette topped Louisiana-Monroe 83-76 on Saturday night. Jakeenan Gant added 20 points for the Ragin' Cajuns. Gant also had eight rebounds and four blocks for the Ragin' Cajuns.

Coastal Carolina claims first win over Louisiana-Lafayette

Zac Cuthbertson scored 24 points to lead five Coastal Carolina players in double figures and freshman Ebrima Dibba notched his first career double-double to help the Chanticleers roll to a 96-79 victory over Louisiana-Lafayette on Saturday.

Kansas began to pull away from Louisiana in the second half, but the Ragin' Cajuns won't go quietly. Bill Self sat Udoka Azubuike and Dedric Lawson with two fouls each after KU fell behind by 12 in the first half in addition to freshman point Devon Dotson. All returned after halftime, but Lagerald Vick is carrying the Jayhawks tonight with 27 points.
