Rick Stansbury, a Texas A&M assistant and former Mississippi State head coach, is leaning toward taking the head-coaching job at Western Kentucky, a source told ESPN.

Another No. 1 seed goes down

UAB, C-USA's No. 1 seed, is the latest top seed to fall in a conference tourney. The Blazers lost to No. 8 seed Western Kentucky 88-77. Box score

Another top seed goes down, as UAB falls to Western Kentucky in the C-USA quarters in Birmingham. The Blazers are the 12th No. 1 seed to lose thus far, and the 4th to do so in their first conference tourney game (Belmont, Bucknell and Valparaiso are the others). Chattanooga remains the only top seed to win its conference tourney.

W. Kentucky rallies late to beat Charlotte 59-54

Justin Johnson slammed home a dunk with 1:23 left in the game to give Western Kentucky its first lead since early in the first half and the Hilltoppers held on to beat Charlotte 59-54 on Saturday
