Christian Yelich is back in the Brewers' lineup tonight after missing a couple of games with a balky back. He certainly looked ready during batting practice, and it turned out to be a good thing he didn't show up at Miller Park today saying he needed another day off. Milwaukee manager Craig Counsell, like the rest of us, saw the viral video of Yelich chugging a brewskie at last night's Bucks-Raptors game. Counsell said, "When I saw him doing that, I was pretty sure he was going to play today. It made me feel really good." Basically, it was the most Milwaukee baseball press conference ever.
