John Lackey stole the first base of his 15 year career on Wednesday and then moments later got picked off second base. After a two out single in the fourth inning, and with first baseman Joey Votto playing behind him, Lackey took off for second before Bailey even began to deliver the ball. The pitcher threw to second too late as Lackey slid in safely. A few moments later he got caught in no man's land and tried to scramble back to second as Reds catcher Tucker Barnhart threw down there. After a video review Lackey was called out.
