Corey Kluber overpowered the Cubs for six innings and Cleveland's airtight bullpen finished up as the Indians beat Chicago 6-0 in Game 1 of the World Series. On a historic night featuring franchises that have gone a combined 176 years without winning a title, Cleveland jumped on Jon Lester for two early runs and added a third tally in the fourth inning on Roberto Perez's solo homer. Perez added a 3-run shot late to ice it. The Indians improved to 70-1 this season when they grab a lead of at least three runs. Kyle Schwarber doubled in his return for the Cubs, but that was the lone bright spot for Chicago. Game 2 is Wednesday.
