World Series champs to be honored by Bush

CHICAGO -- The World Series champion Chicago White Sox will
be honored Monday by President Bush during a visit to the White
The White Sox ended an 88-year championship drought when they
swept the Houston Astros. They made several major moves during the
offseason, including re-signing free agent Paul Konerko, trading
for slugger Jim Thome and starting pitcher Javier Vazquez, and
letting go two-time AL MVP Frank Thomas.
Manager Ozzie Guillen also became a U.S. citizen.
Bush is a former Texas Rangers owner.
