Ramirez out with tight hamstring

MIAMI -- Florida Marlins shortstop and All-Star voting leader Hanley Ramirez is out of the Marlins' lineup for the series finale against the Tampa Bay Rays with a tight right hamstring.

Ramirez aggravated his leg in the eighth inning of the Marlins' 9-8, 11-inning loss Saturday night. He had the leg packed in ice and covered by a large bandage in the clubhouse Sunday morning.

Marlins manager Fredi Gonzalez said Ramirez would be available to pinch-hit if necessary, but that the team wouldn't allow him to run. Florida is off Monday before starting a three-game series in Baltimore the following day.

Ramirez is batting .286 with 11 home runs and 40 RBIs.
