The Giants officially signed Pablo Sandoval, and are assigning him to their High-A Cal League affiliate in San Jose. Moving Eduardo Nunez by the trade deadline would certainly make room. If there's any life left in the Panda's bat, it's found money; if (more likely) not, no harm in trying.
