Ian Happ will get his first ML start at second base on Saturday as both Ben Zobrist and Javier Baez won't start against Brandon McCarthy of the Dodgers. Jon Jay is in CF and leads off while Kyle Schwarber bats second. Miguel Montero will catch for John Lackey.

1B Wil Myers (rest) isn't in the Padres starting lineup Saturday vs. the Nationals. Yangervis Solarte gets the start at first base, Cory Spangenberg at second.
