The last-place Blue Jays are 29th in the majors in runs scored and manager John Gibbons will try just about anything to get his listless offense going. Tuesday night in St. Louis, he is starting catcher Russell Martin at third base. Martin hasn't started a game at third since 2008 when he was with the Los Angeles Dodgers. "He looks great at the plate right now. Our big thing is scoring runs, you know? There's no doubt in my mind he can do it. You look at that lineup, he's probably the best athlete on that field. We'll give it a go. If it works, we may do it again."
