Kyle Schwarber has struck out 6 times in 1.5 games at Fenway Park this weekend giving him 34 on the season, just behind the league leaders. His batting average has dipped to .205 on the year as the Cubs trail the Red Sox 4-2 in the 5th.

For the second straight day at Fenway Park a "Lets Go Cubbies" chant broke out after Kris Bryant extended a hitting streak to 10 games followed by Anthony Rizzo's 5th home run on this road trip. The Cubs have reduced their deficit to one, 3-2, in the 4th.

Two huge wins for the Mets to beat Max Scherzer on Friday and Stephen Strasburg today, right as their season seemed on the brink of falling apart. Michael Conforto continues to rake with two home runs, including one off reliever Enny Romero, his first hit off a lefty this season.

ESPN Stats and Information

Michael Conforto is swinging for the fences today, and it sure is working. His eighth-inning home run gave the Mets a two-run lead against the Nationals on Saturday.

Eddie Matz ESPN Senior Writer

The Mets used a pair of Michael Conforto homers and a parade of relievers to win their second straight over the Nats in DC, 5-3. Bryce Harper fanned three times for the second straight day, only the second time in his career that's happened, and Daniel Murphy went hitless for just the second time in 24 games against his former team.

Nats cleanup hitter Ryan Zimmerman is on pace to win the Triple Crown. His 8th inning blast to deep left center - which landed squarely in the Seven Line Army and cut the Mets lead to 4-3 - gives him 11 bombs on the season, tied for most in the bigs. He also leads the majors in batting (.402), and RBI's (26).

ESPN Stats and Information

Brett Gardner is having one of the best offensive games of his career. The 33-year-old hit his second home run of the day against the Baltimore Orioles.

Watch Ben Zobrist talk about facing a knuckle ball pitcher. The Cubs are the only team in baseball who haven't seen one over the last 5 seasons.

David Price threw 30 pitches over two simulated innings. Next step: A light bullpen session Monday followed by a 45-pitch simulated game Thursday. It's a spring training-style progression, at this point.

Ryan Zimmerman's RBI single gave the Nats a 1-0 lead over the Mets. It also gave him 25 RBI's, tied for most in the majors with teammates Bryce Harper and Daniel Murphy. Needless to say, Washington's offense is clicking.

It's a good thing the Rockies are on the road against the Diamondbacks this weekend, because conditions at Coors Field are not ideal for baseball. According to the Denver Post, the area is expected to get up to 12 inches of snow by Saturday afternoon. (@Rockies/Twitter)

Jon Jay gets a start in LF for the Cubs on Saturday as Joe Maddon has a great outfield defense in place for fly ball pitcher John Lackey. Jay has been great at the plate as well, hitting .394 with a .474 OBP in limited action. Miguel Montero catches Lackey while the Cubs face knuckleball pitcher Steve Wright.
