Incident that led to the arrest and assault charge of Tigers pitcher Warwick Saupold began when Saupold and two minor-league Pittsburgh Pirates players were informed of last call at local Toledo bar and "became disgruntled," according to a police report obtained by ESPN.com. Argument began between players and a bartender and patron, which later escalated outside the establishment. Two police officers on the scene witnessed Saupold punch patron in the face, after which he was arrested. Two other players were also arrested after taunting officers and attempting to interfere with arrest. Patron later charged as well.
