Imagine if Bryce Harper got to play all his home games at Coors Field. He homered -- minus batting gloves -- as part of an 11-run seventh inning and has gone 7-for-13 with three walks in the series. The Nats lost the series opener when Harper didn't start, but have now scored 42 runs the past three days. With two innings still to go in this one.

Rockies 3B Nolan Arenado's 420-foot home run to left in the first inning of Thursday's game against the Nats was his 30th homer of such distance in the last three seasons, the third-most in MLB.

With 15 runs on the board today at Colorado, and counting, the Washington Nationals now have scored 14 or more four times already this season. The other 29 teams have combined for six.

That's the way to win a game! Randal Grichuk ties the game with a two-out homer in the ninth and then Matt Carpenter creams a one-out grand slam off J.P. Howell in the 11th to win it. The Blue Jays squander six shutout innings from Mat Latos as the bullpen gives up all eight runs. It's the first walk-off slam for the Cardinals since Aaron Miles in 2008 and first in extra innings since Tommie Herr in 1987 against the Mets.

Nice win for the Mariners to beat the Tigers in a game started by Justin Verlander. Hisashi Iwakuma matched him on the scoreboard with his best outing of 2017, the M's pushed a run across in the ninth against Francisco Rodriguez, and first baseman Taylor Motter ended the game with a diving catch into the stands on a pop-up.
