The Yankees announced today their new "Honor Row" initiative, a project that will honor various community groups monthly throughout the season by allowing them to sit in the Judge's Chambers in right. A group of Bronx public school students and teachers will be the first 18 Honor Row honorees next Thursday when the Yankees host the Twins in a day game.

Clint Frazier (concussion) continues progressing, according to Aaron Boone. The Yankees OF is "working out full bore" with the Yankees' affiliate in Tampa on Thursday night, per Boone. He'll be taking batting practice and doing some defensive work. Perhaps "in the very near future" he'll appear in games, Boone said. He also said Greg Bird (ankle) and Brandon Drury (blurred vision are taking positive steps getting on-field work, too. "So hopefully guys are starting to tread in the right way, and obviously looking forward to getting a lot of those guys back in the mix."

Aaron Boone said today the MRI that right-handed reliever Tommy Kahnle had this week revealed bicep tendinitis and some shoulder tendinitis. The team doesn't believe the injury is serious, but Kahnle will be shut down the next 10 days or so. Said Boone: "It could be something that's a few weeks before he's back." Kahnle's velocity had been going down slightly in recent appearances. The Yankees hope when he returns, his pitch speed will, too.

It happened. Giancarlo Stanton won't be batting third tonight versus the Blue Jays. As Aaron Boone hinted he may do, he's moved the DH in the order: Gardner CF Judge RF Gregorius SS Stanton DH Sanchez C Hicks CF Walker 1B Wade 2B Torreyes 3B Sabathia SP

Javier Baez was batting eighth just days ago but has moved all the way up to No. 2 for the Cubs as Joe Maddon continues to search for the right mix for his up and down lineup. Albert Almora Jr bats lead off with Bryant and Rizzo behind the top 2.

Bryan Price's firing was inevitable in the midst of a 3-15 start, but he didn't have much to work with. The Reds' pitching is bad, the defense might be worse, and the offense has been gutted by injuries to Eugenio Suarez and Scott Schebler and the departure of Zack Cozart through free agency. Nick Senzel will arrive soon from Louisville and Hunter Greene provides reason for excitement in the minors, but it's going to be a long, laborious rebuild before the Reds are respectable again.
