RHP Brock Stewart has been transferred from the 10-day DL to the 60-day DL, clearing a spot for Brandon Morrow on the 40-man roster. Stewart began the year on the DL (right shoulder tendinitis) and recently began a minor league rehab assignment. The move shouldn't impact his timetable.

Eric Thames returns to the Brewers lineup on Monday against the Mets. He'll make the start at LF, Jesus Aguilar will take 1B. Hernan Perez is on the bench.

Jacoby Ellsbury (concussion) is not ready to resume baseball activities, reports Bryan Hoch. Ellsbury was diagnosed last Wednesday after a collision with the outfield wall while making a catch. Aaron Hicks will continue to fill in during his absence.

Aroldis Chapman (shoulder, rotator cuff inflamation) has resumed playing catch but is not ready to return to the bullpen according to MLB.com. He was able to do some throwing on back-to-back days this past weekend. Dellin Betances will continue to fill in as closer.
