ESPN Stats and Information

Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw is back to his dominant ways, and Cody Bellinger has proved he's as good as advertised. Meanwhile, the Cardinals have been happy to have Lance Lynn back, and Matt Carpenter's patience at the plate has been a plus.

ESPN Stats and Information

The Giants hit three solo home runs as a team Monday vs. the Cubs. San Francisco's last 18 homers have been of the solo variety, the second-longest streak in the majors since 1969. The Giants hit 21 straight solo homers in 2011.

ESPN Stats and Information

Miguel Sano hit his 11th home run of the season and had three RBIs on Monday vs. the Orioles, bringing his season total to 37 RBIs in 40 games. The only other players in Twins/Senators history to have as many homers and RBIs as Sano in the first 40 games of a season were Larry Hisle in 1977 (11 HR, 42 RBIs) and Joe Mauer in 2009 (13 HR, 40 RBIs), per the Elias Sports Bureau. ESPN Stats and Information

Over his last six starts, Zack Greinke is 5–0 with a 2.55 ERA and 58 strikeouts, including 12 vs. the White Sox on Monday. That's Greinke's highest strikeout total over a span of six starts in his major league career. His previous best was 54 K's over his first six starts of 2009, when he won the AL Cy Young, per the Elias Sports Bureau. (Photo: Kevin Abele/Icon Sportswire)

ESPN Stats and Information

Jon Lester has had strong outings against the Giants throughout his career, and recent call-up Ian Happ is on a roll for the Cubs. Meanwhile, Johnny Cueto and the Giants' offense haven't exactly been hot.

ESPN Stats and Information

Braves 2B Brandon Phillips paced Monday's longest home runs, four out of five of which came from National League players.

Tristan H. Cockcroft ESPN Senior Writer

Zack Greinke has pitched eight-plus innings with 10-plus strikeouts and no greater than one run allowed in two of his past three starts. During his No. 2-overall-on-the-Player Rater 2015, he had only one such game all season. Perhaps more importantly, both of those two starts this month have come with the roof open at Chase Field, which was usually a problem for him in 2016. Greinke is moving back into my top 10 fantasy starters going forward.
