Hall of Famer & former U.S. Sen. Jim Bunning, who died Fri. at 85, said in our Cooperstown interviews that neither Pete Rose nor any PEDs user should be inducted in the Hall, but that union head Marvin Miller ("he did more for changing the game than any other person") & Yankees owner George Steinbrenner should be in. "The Boss," Bunning said, was even "smart" in death: "He died in a year, 2010, that there is no estate tax...his estate could have been hit with $500 million in 2009 or $600 million in 2011."

Ian Happ will get his first ML start at second base on Saturday as both Ben Zobrist and Javier Baez won't start against Brandon McCarthy of the Dodgers. Jon Jay is in CF and leads off while Kyle Schwarber bats second. Miguel Montero will catch for John Lackey.
