With Outside the Lines planning to air at 1 p.m. today on ESPN (likely switch from ESPN2 because of rain at MLB game between Cleveland & Detroit) our report on the 1993 boating accident that took the lives of Indians pitchers Tim Crews and Steve Olin, we remember their families. Their widows, Patti Olin and Laurie Crews, each raised three children whose fathers had died. Laurie said today, "Patti and I both made it through because of our kids." The Olins and Crewses have had to relive tragic memories since Jose Fernandez died on Sunday and both expressed their condolences and sorrow for the Fernandez family.
