Don't look now, but Ervin Santana is off to one of the hottest starts we've ever seen. It's been more than 60 years since a pitcher shut down batters with such regularity through his first 10 starts of a season.

ESPN Stats and Information

Through 20 games at Atlanta's new ballpark, no home run has been shorter than Jordy Mercer's 345-footer on Tuesday, the second-shortest of any MLB homer on the day. That said, it would have gotten out in all but four big league parks.

ESPN Stats and Information

Few players can scrape the sky with home runs like Mike Moustakas. After hitting what was then the second-highest homer (129-foot apex) of his career last week, Moustakas set a career-high apex in Tuesday's win.

ESPN Stats and Information

Kyle Schwarber's home run -- which left Wrigley Field and landed on Sheffield Avenue -- easily paced the league on Tuesday. Michael Conforto and Kendrys Morales were next, with Bryce Harper and Charlie Blackmon not too far behind.

If Clayton Kershaw never pitched another game, he would (should) be 1st-ballot, unanimous HOFer, and strong case could be made for best ever

Stolen bases against Jon Lester in 2015: 44 in 55 attempts. 2016: 28 in 41 attempts. 2017: 6 steals in 13 attempts.

Nasty collision between Joc Pederson and Yasiel Puig to end the top of the 10th, with Pederson taking an elbow to the head as Puig made the catch. Chris Turner hit for Pederson in the bottom of the inning, but Puig returns to right field for the 11th.

Yes, that's Fernando Rodney with his seventh consecutive scoreless appearance for the Diamondbacks following two blown saves in which he allowed eight runs. He tossed a 1-2-3 ninth as Arizona has won seven of eight and 10 of 13. Fire the arrow, big guy.

You can't fault Dave Roberts for leaving in Clayton Kershaw to close out a dominant 1-0 shutout, even if he did have Kenley Jansen in the bullpen. He was cruising with a two-hitter, but then made one mistake, a wild pitch that allowed a hustling Randal Grichuk to score all the way from second base to tie the game.

ESPN Stats and Information

The roof at Chase Field might have been imperiled by this towering shot by White Sox 1B Jose Abreu on Tuesday night off D-backs reliever Jorge De La Rosa in the eighth inning. It was Abreu's ninth home run of the season and fourth in his last nine games.

ESPN Stats and Information

The eighth home run of the season for Blue Jays 1B Kendrys Morales was another no-doubter. He sent a 92-mph fastball from Brewers right-hander Jimmy Nelson off the batter's eye at Miller Park.
