The Tigers are aware of the Warwick Saupold arrest and have already imposed disciplinary actions. Saupold has retained a lawyer, though it is not clear if this incident will present any immigration or visa issues for the Perth, Australia native. "We're aware of the situation. We're going to let the legal justice system takes its course. Another Cubs rotation note: John Lackey will throw another bullpen session Thursday. If that goes well, he'll likely start Sunday against San Francisco. For now, the team is listing Sunday's probable as TBD.

Cubs manager Joe Maddon announced that he's flipping starter Jason Hammel and Mike Montgomery in the upcoming rotation. Hammel, coming off a short outing, will start Wednesday's series finale against Pittsburgh. Montgomery will go Thursday against San Francisco.

Had a real nice chat with David Wright today. He actually walks the upper deck and other parts of the stadium a few hours before each game, since that's the only exercise he's permitted to do for now. He said stadium vendors are very friendly and are always offering him hotdogs and beer. Wright said his next neck exam is in early September. He has about 60 percent mobility with his neck now. It should get to about 95 percent within six months. Wright said he realized early on that the gates are open pretty early on Fridays and Saturdays at Citi Field. He was doing his daily walk when fans spotted him conspicuously wearing his Mets garb.
