A big part of the reason why the Pirates are MLB's hottest team outside of the Astros & Dodgers? Pitching, because the Bucs lead the majors in ERA in July, with the pen really shining (MLB-best 1.57 ERA). Now that they're above .500 with Starling Marte back from his PED suspension and the lineup finally ready to fire on all cylinders, you can bury those Andrew McCutchen trade rumors.

It seems like he makes a great catch and it's like, all right, that's the best one. Then he makes another catch and it's like, OK, that's the best one. It seems like he's always raising the bar."
