You always hear about the Yankees doing things first-class. Here's an example: In the visitors' clubhouse, there are four black leather couches, and the middle back pillow on each one has an authentic, embroidered Orioles logo on it. Turns out each middle pillow has a zip-out swatch that allows them to swap out the logos depending on which team is in town. Because of that (and because it's a really swanky room), you'd never know it was the visitors' clubhouse.

Terry Collins said he thought Reds manager Bryan Price got out there in time to challenge -- even if it was 15 seconds instead of 10 seconds or whatever is stipulated -- on the game-ending play in St. Louis on Thursday. He said he came away from that debacle believing his outfielders definitely need to know the ground rules for visiting ballparks "so we don't have to get ourselves in those situations."

Terry Collins said he kept Bartolo Colon on Saturday on standard rest to avoid getting "too cute." Collins said he cannot answer whether Colon would be available for the wild-card game if Noah Syndergaard has to pitch a full game Sunday.
