Big Papi's counsel and friendship impacted many MLB careers. Here are the stories from those who know him best:

Cards walk off in controversial fashion

With 10 strikeouts so far through six innings, Johnny Cueto becomes the third straight Giants starter to record 10+ K's -- the first time they've done that since 1975. More importantly, the game is 2-2. Win, and the Giants remain a game up on the Cardinals; lose and they're tied as the Dodgers come to San Fran for the final series.
