The Dodgers began Sunday with a Major League-leading 67 wins and plus-173 run-differential. They're baseball's deepest team, but they'll still look to shore up their pitching before the trade deadline. Dave Roberts, when asked if there's a difference between a roster that is set up to win in the regular season versus the postseason: "I think they're two separate discussions -- one to win long, but also the idea to have the pieces to win 11 games. I think we have the pieces to win 11 games, but I think every roster has the ability to improve."

He's basically in his seventh consecutive season of being the game's best pitcher, leading the Majors in wins (15) and ERA (2.07). Dodgers catcher Yasmani Grandal, on what keeps pushing Kershaw: "It just comes with his personality, his attitude. He could've easily just backed off after he got his contract."
