"I'm back here and glad to be around a group of guys that want to win," he said. "And I want to be a part of it." The expectation is that Gutierrez starts in the outfield when the Dodgers face left-handed pitching.

Washington Nationals are close to signing all star catcher Matt Wieters on a guaranteed 2-year deal with a player opt out after year 1. Scott Boras negotiated the deal with both the owner and GM according to sources. Salary has not been revealed. Deal was first reported by Fanrag Sports.
